As this week’s photos will attest, work on the MRI suite is progressing rapidly. The wall framing is in place and coverings are going up. Each wall first gets a layer of regular wallboard; then a layer of plywood is placed over that.

This first photo is from the same vantage point as the pictures in previous posts. You can see some plywood over the first layer of wallboard in the distant corner.

This next photo is taken from the opposite vantage point, in front of the area with plywood facing out. By next week, magnetic shielding will be placed on the plywood, followed by a finishing layer of wallboard. Concurrently with this, plumbing and ventilation modifications are also being installed.
